TekSpan is a modular steel frame system based on a hot dipped galvanised box frame and using a unique T-bolt fastening system, TekSpan has been installed on many projects throughout Europe and is now available to the UK market.

TekSpan gives you the loading properties of welded steel frames without the associated site-welding issues, and is ideal for installing in challenging environments, such as basement boiler rooms and risers where a crane-lift would present a logistics issue.

Heavy Duty Frames

Pre-Slotted Profile Lengths

The skeleton of the TekSpan system; high grade pre-slotted profiles supplied in hot dip galvanised finish, for ultimate longevity in external or internal applications. Available in 80x80x2.5mm, or 100x100x3mm variants, TekSpan profiles are delivered in 6m lengths and can be simply cut on site using a chopsaw to achieve the required length. With a high loadbearing capacity, TekSpan fills the gap between regular Unistrut-style channel and primary steel beams, and accommodates direct connection to Unistrut too, making it the ideal main frame for smaller services to tap off from.

Use with T-lock bolts and the wide range of available brackets to achieve the support frame you need.

TekSpan is also fully Water Industry Mechanical and Electrical Specifications (WIMES) compliant ensuring that is the perfect modular steel frame system for UK Water Industry application.

Arguably the greatest benefit of TekSpan is the short lead time; traditional steel frames need to be cut, welded, fabricated, shipped to galvanisers, and then transported to site. With TekSpan the components are picked from the shelf, shipped to site, and assembled in-situ using minimal tools. With expert support from start to finish, the MEP / HVAC contractor can literally order today an have a frame installation completed within 24 hours.

One of the unique features of the TekSpan system is the stepless slot design, which the T-lock bolt facilitates. In practice this means that leveling up frames and structures is done simply and quickly, in contrast to screw systems that require precise alignment of holes.
