Self-tapping concrete screw bolt with a truss head and zinc-plated coating. Opt 1 ETA Approved.
Kora concrete screws offer a fast and secure direct fixing for medium and heavy loads into concrete substrates. High grade zinc plated coating, with Option 1 ETA approval.
Technical information
Drill a 6mm pilot hole into substrate
Ensure pilot hole is free from dust and debris
Position fixture in place over drilled hole, and place concrete screw through fixture hole into pilot hole
Use a socket / driver bit to drive the concrete screw into the pilot hole, and ensure correct torque is reached (see individual screw data sheets for correct torque figure)
Kora concrete screws are ideal for close-to-edge fixing applications, as no stress is placed on the substrate, unlike expansion anchors. They can be removed and re-used once, making them ideal for situations where a frame needs to be positioned. Dome head versions are perfect for using to fix channel to concrete bases, as the domed head design means channel nut springs don’t foul on the head. Threaded rod hanger heads make for easy suspension of threaded rods, for pipework or trapeze applications.
